The CPDJA is Canada’s largest professional DJ association, with more members reported than all other Canadian associations combined. The new tool is included at no additional cost in the suite of Event Intelligence tools and is immediately available to all Event Intelligence subscribers. This simple, yet powerful website tool allows clients and prospective clients to “save” your company’s information for future reference. They have the option of sending a text message to their cell phone with your company’s contact information or receiving an email which includes a vCard attachment so they can add your company’s contact info to their address book with a single click.

Hundreds of new DJ companies now casting their votes for the Most Requested Songs of 2010 |

Since releasing the most requested songs of 2009 (http://djintelligence.com/charts/DJIntelligenceMostRequestedAll2009.pdf), hundreds of new DJ companies have joined DJ Intelligence so they can include their clients' requests in next year's tally.
The DJ Intelligence music request system is just one of nearly two dozen interactive web modules included with the service, but among DJs it is agreed to be the most popular. The DJ's clients can log on to their existing website and search through their personal music library (or use the default list of 75,000 songs which is updated weekly) by keyword, genre, decade, and other search parameters, or simply browse through the DJ's library by song title or artist. They can view song suggestions by category. They can even listen to 30 second song samples and view the lyrics to any song with a single click!

Event Intelligence can now accommodate multiple events from the same client! |

Event Intelligence’s newest upgrade allows for multiple events to be booked from the same client! Previously email address was the way client information was stored in the system, so it was difficult for clients who may have booked your services for multiple events, such as a school or company. The most common workaround was obtaining a secondary email address from the client to use for the additional event. However, this is no longer necessary as the system now uses event date in combination with email address to store client information. This means that you can flawlessly book an unlimited number of events from the same client! This upgrade is automatic and already available on your account.

No more inappropriate songs with NEW profanity filter |

Event Intelligence now includes an optional built-in profanity content filter on all the music search tools. The profanity content filter looks for inappropriate words in song titles and artist names and automatically purges those songs from the search results so they can not be viewed.

"Must Plays" taking control of your DJ play lists? |

A new feature has been launched which allows you to change the text on the "Must Play, Play if Possible, and Do Not Play" buttons on the Music Database. Prefer to use "Love It, Like It, and Hate It?" Or, perhaps something less forceful, such as "Please Play, Okay to Play, and Prefer Not to Play." The choice is now yours as you are in full control! This new setting can be found on the Master Settings page of your control panel.

Event Intelligence has launched a new feature to help you get more leads & bookings and keep clients within your network of friends and colleagues. With this new feature, the Availability Checker Referral Network, you can now create your own lead generation network by automatically referring other companies who are available for an event date when you are not, and vice versa. Simply let the Event Intelligence system know the account names of those companies you wish to refer. Then, when a prospective client checks your availability, if you are not available the system will automatically check the availability of the other companies you selected, and present the prospective client with a list of available companies, including full contact information.

Client requests come in M3U files for digital DJs |

When uploading your music list to Event Intelligence, you can optionally include the fully qualified path to your song files. When a client submits a request list online via the Event Intelligence Music Database that contains songs with location data, the system will automatically email you a M3U file in addition to the standard CSV file. This M3U file is a universal file that most digital music programs will read in and establish a play list containing the selected songs. This means that the songs your clients have requested for their event will be automatically loaded into your digital DJ program, ready for your selection at their event. Your clients will visit your website, create their request list, submit their list to you electronically which includes the M3U file, and you simply click on that file to load their music into your digital DJ program!

So rather than forcing you to use a specific term for address components, such as "city" or "state" or "zip", we instead give you full control over these terms. On the Master Settings page of your control panel you are be able to enter any term you want for all the components that make up an address. Use "House Number and Street" instead of "Address"? Use "Town" instead of "City"? Use "County" or "Province" instead of "State"? Use "Postal Code" instead of "Zip"? These changes are quick and simple with this capability.
